Local bumbleebee expert, Maggie Frankum, is again running her popular ID workshops at the Botanic Gardens in Oadby this year. The events are free but you must book a place. First come first served so don't delay! More.

Buzzing about at the Botanic Garden

A practical hands-on search for local bumblebees foraging around the flower borders in the Botanic Garden.

Learn to catch and identify them and find out about their lives and the plants that they need..........

 

INFORMATION about the three Workshops as follows:

 

  • WORKSHOP 1            Sunday 22nd May 2016,  2pm - 4pm
  • WORKSHOP 2            Sunday 19th June 2016,  2pm - 4pm
  • WORKSHOP 3            Sunday 7th August 2016,  2pm - 4pm

 

VENUE:-   The University of Leicester Botanic Garden.

Meet at the Knoll public entrance on Glebe Road, Oadby, Leicester.
