Recently the NatureSpot team met for an awayday at Holwell nature reserve where they found a rare cream-flowered form of Bush Vetch, Vicia sepium var. ochroleucaMore….

There are only a handful of records of this plant from the UK, mostly from Cornwall, so it’s an interesting record of one of the rarest plants in the county. Now is the best time of year to get out and start spotting wild flowers - the recent rain will bring out lots more. Happy spotting folks!
