    Hello all,

I found this bush-cricket at the University Botanic Gardens this morning. Might this be the Southern Oak Bush-cricket instead of a nymph of the more common Oak Bush-cricket?

    Best wishes,

    Saharima

    Hi Saharima,

This is a nymph of the standard Oak Bush-cricket. The wings are already longer than those of the Southern Oak Bush-cricket.

Glad to see you are on your guard for the rarer species!

    Best wishes,

    David
