Cat Flea - Ctenocephalides felis
A typical flea. Identification requires microscopic examination.
Nearly always found on domestic cats.
Although principally found on the cat (Felis domesticus), this species is responsible for most flea infestations in houses. It is also now the commonest flea found on dogs.
