These aphids are extremely small, maybe only 2 mm. They have a green body and blackish legs, both of which have hairs.
They live mainly on Yarrow and Sneezewort and are usually found in vegetated areas containing these foodplants.
Late summer and autumn.
Associated with Yarrow and Sneezewort causing galls to form.
Probably quite common in Britain but badly under recorded due to its diminutive size.
Probably common in Leicestershire and Rutland but under recorded in our area.
