We keep adding new Wild Places to our listings. The latest is Holly Hayes Wood. More...

The main part of the site is ancient woodland, listed in the Domesday Book. Holly Hayes wood is now managed by the Coalville Education Partnership and supports a wide range of species, including Jay and Muntjac. A good list of moths has been recorded here also. Adjacent grassland is of high quality with Great Burnet and Pignut. Public access is along the recognised footpaths.
