Private Wild Places

NatureSpot only publicises Wild Places that have public access. However we do set up Wild Place feature pages for private sites. These pages are not publicised on our website nor linked to any menu or map, but are available to view if you know the page link.

Private Wild Place pages work in exactly the same way as the publicised Wild Places in that they filter and display all the records and images for that site that are found on the NatureSpot database. They are a great way to view and monitor the wildlife found on your own patch. You can add your own description and news to the page (we can give you edit permission if you would like this) and you can share the link we will give you with friends, family and colleagues as you choose (we won't share it with anyone).

Private Wild Places are suited to gardens, farms, company grounds - indeed anywhere that has some wildlife interest. We do ask for a small one-off contribution to help with the set up costs. Once created, your Wild Place page will remain indefinitely and will automatically update whenever we receive a record (together with any attached images) for your site - an incentive to get Nature Spotting!
