A small (1.5 mm) dark species, Anurophorus laricis does not possess a furca and there is no empodial appendage on the foot.
One of the arboreal springtails, usually found under bark and up trees.
All year round.
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
Believed to be common but under recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
