Growing in the kerbside gutter on Evington Lane near the junction with Stoughton Drive.  Flower appears white with a very slight lilac tint on the outer florets and yellow towards the centre.  Ht c 30cm.

Stem flushed purple. Cut stem is a rounded hexagon, hollow with edges exuding milky sap. Stems appear to have sparse hairs, arising from raised pyramidal bases tipped with glands.

Many thanks.  I've been back and certainly the lower leaves are more typically smooth sowthistle. The glandular hairs seem to make it a slightly unusual deviant.
