    Aylestone Meadows is the richest area of biodiversity close to the centre of Leicester and a vital link in the Soar Valley wildlife corridor. It is also under threat from encroaching development and associated pollution. Leicester City Council has just announced plans which include the creation of new wetlands and flood prevention. So whether you believe this is a good thing for local wildlife or a scheme to catch the run-off from the new road, find out more and let your political representatives know what you think.
