    I found this unusual bee on the pavement whilst walking along St Matthews Way in Leicester. I am struggling to find a possible ID. I have attached some photographs.

    Very nice!

    It's one of the Cimbicidae sawflies, possibly Honeysuckle Sawfly (Zaraea lonicerae). Dave Nicholls is the person you need for sawflies.
