Try ISpot for id help.  It is simple to upload photos.  Anyone can register, free.  https://www.ispotnature.org/

The site is visited regularly by experts in all fields who can comment on your posts & offer identifications.  All you need to do is put your photos in the right category.  Note that the misleading butterfly symbol is for ALL invertebrates!  The unknown category is for a generic what on earth is it?  when you really can't tell whether it is an animal  or a plant.

iSpot IDs are sometimes very good, sometimes not. Generally, much like Wikipedia, as a crowd-powered website, iSpot works well.

In case anyone is wondering, the difference between NatureSpot and iSpot is that all NatureSpot records are verified (ore rejected if wrong) by experts before going into the permanent scientific record. I'm not sure exactly what happen to iSpot records - I think they just remain on the iSpot site?
