    Found this whilst doing gardenwatch worm detective. It's about 1cm long and moved pretty quickly. Earwig shaped but don't think that's what it is.

    Commonly known as rove beetles, quite active predators - gardener's friend - will eat root aphids, slug eggs and other things smaller than they are....
