    I've just read the list of images required - the following were taken 'in capitivity' i.e. in gardens, but as they are closeups would this be acceptable to show the details of a plant for ID purposes? You can always replace them with wild taken images once you get one!

    I have - Acer saccharum (showing autumn colour): Mahonia japonica: Philadelphus x virginialis: Mentha x piperata: Helleborus viridis: Fragaria anassa: Russell lupin

    Thanks Sally but we want to just use images that are genuine records. It is also difficult to add images to species pages that aren't records because of the way the technology works. It was a good thought though.
