As you've created a new forum for this purpose, I'll re-post a request from a couple of years ago.

When you open the Explore All Records page, would it be possible for the map to be zoomed in to Leicestershire and Rutland by default?  At the moment it shows not only the whole of the UK but as far east as Warsaw!  As the map can take a long time to refresh after each click, it is a slow process to go through several steps of zooming and recentering to get to the local area of interest.

If you zoom in on the All Records map to a certain level, all the squares get flooded with blue so it's hard to see any detail.  I think the problem might be connected with three Naturespot records that just state the grid reference as SK (i.e. a 100km square).  I wonder whether those records could be amended or deleted?

Both are very sensible suggestions and we will put them on the development list. Thanks.

We've made the recommended changes so that the Explore map now opens to VC55 by default and also any records with less than a 6 figure grid reference are now hidden.
