    Whereas bush-crickets, cone-heads and groundhoppers I can manage, I'm having real problems trying to decide on species for the grasshoppers I've photographed recently.  I seem to keep going round in circles!  I'd therefore be very grateful if someonne could put me out of my misery with these, please...

    The bottom two images show Lesser Marsh Grasshopper - note the parallel keels on the sides of the pronotum and white line along the leading edge of the wing. The key feature to help identify grasshoppers is the pattern on the top of the pronotum so a good dorsal photo is needed. A sideways shot in addition is also helpful.
