Does anyone know what causes these hummocks, which are common in Bradgate Park around the ruins and along the path towards Anstey?  Is it a type of ant or a type of tussock-forming grass?  Neither of these is evident on the hummocks themselves.

Thank you both.  I watched the video and was interested to learn that the yellow meadow ants are farming aphids on the roots of grasses around the ant hills, just as black ants do on my apple trees.
