Hypomyces aurantius
This fungus consists of orange, pear shaped fruit bodies, each up to 0.3mm in diameter. A yellowish cobwebby subiculum of hyphae expands across the surface of the host to support the orange fruit bodies.
Grows densely clustered on the fungal fruit bodies of rotting polypores (bracket fungi).
