Agonum muelleri

Description

Length 7 to 9 mm. A handsome beetle with a metallic sheen that can vary from golden greens through to maroons and purples in certain light conditions.

Common and widespread in Britain.

Fairly common in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 50 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
