The larvae of the fly Aulagromyza luteoscutellata mine the leaves of various honeysuckles and of snowberry. The mine has a little widening, upper-surface corridor, generally unbranched and not associated with the leaf margin. Frass in a broad green band with scattered dark granules, sometimes locally with ill-defined strikes.
Where the host plants are found.
Mines can be encountered when the host plants are in leaf.
Status in Britain is uncertain as the species seems little recorded.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
