Previously known as Coprobia granulata. It takes the form of tiny orange-red discs up to 2 mm in diameter.
On dung, usually from cows.
All year but most commonly in summer and autumn
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
