Description
The leaf mines, in the leaves of Honeysuckle are seen more often than the adult fly. The mines extend from the central rib.

Where Honeysuckle is present.
When to see it
Mines are usually to be seen from early summer to autumn, although recently some earlier instances have been noted.
Life History
The larval foodplant is Honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum).
UK Status
Widespread but under recorded in Britain.
