Coralberry - Symphoricarpos orbiculatus
Symphoricarpos orbiculatus is a bushy deciduous shrub with dark green, ovate leaves and small white or pinkish bell-shaped flowers in late summer, followed by dark pink or purplish fruit.
Unless identified by a recognised expert, photos are required preferably showing the flowers, but particularly the fruits.
Usually found as a planted shrub or escape from cultivation, and often close to habitation.
Flowers in late summer.
Deciduous shrub.
Not often recorded in Britain which makes status difficult to determine.
Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
