Endromopoda detrita

A black bodied ichneumon with red-brown coloured legs.

Various habitats.

Late spring to early autumn.

Parasitic on insect larvae such as sawfly larvae.

Not well recorded, but seems to be widespread in the southern half of Britain.

Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
