Description

Entyloma ficariae is a smut fungus the embedded sorus parasitises the live leaf of Lesser Celandine (Ficaria verna) leaving pale looking patches.

Habitat

Wherever Lesser Celandine occurs.

When to see it

April and May.

Widespread in Britain.
