    Length about 3 mm. This is a very small amber brown beetle.

    Identification difficulty

    Grassy, well vegetated places and damp meadows.

    When to see it

    Spring and summer.

    UK Status

    Widespread and very common in Britain.

    VC55 Status

    Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 30 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
