Description
The Fieldfare is a large thrush which appears mainly in flocks during winter, often together with Redwings.

Habitat
Countryside areas, both feeding on grassland and perching in trees.
When to see it
October to March (occasionally to May)
Life History
This bird eats worms, insects and berries. In harsh winters they visit gardens and can quickly strip all the berries from a bush.
