Habitat
Grassland, especially upland grassland such as the Derbyshire Dales.
When to see it
Autumn, although spent fruiting bodies may persist.
Life History
Often found in small groups.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.

Occasional in Leicestershire and Rutland.
