The wing pattern of this brown lacewing varies and there are other similar species we are grateful for the expert help received in determining the identification of the species.
Various habitats including hedgerows and deciduous woods.
Summer and autumn.
Widespread and quite common in Britain.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were approximately 20 validated records for this species according to the 'Checklist of Neuroptera and allies in VC55' published in 2018.
