Description
Resembling its two parents Crataegus monogyna (Hawthorn) and Crataegus laevigata (Midland Hawthorn). The flowers of the hybrid usually have a mixture of one and two styles.

Widespread in Britain.
VC55 Status
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland is unclear as the hybrid is often overlooked by recorders. It was not recorded in the 1979 Flora survey of Leicestershire.
