Hydropsyche contubernalis

Description

Length 7 to 14 mm. A caddisfly with a mottled wing pattern. The amount of mottling may vary. This species has a large pale blotch on the distal margin of the forewing.

Larva spins a net amongst gravel in slow moving water to catch food.
