Thallus very pale yellowish or yellow-green sometimes almost off white, forming a thin, often extensive, continuous crust bounded by white. Surface becoming cracked
On dry siliceous rocks and walls, often below overhangs.
All year round
Widespread and common in Britain.
Common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
