Description
A granular or crusty lichen usually pale yellow-green but can be whitish or grey-green.

Habitat
Common on acid-barked trees, wood and worked timber. Also occurs as a pioneer species on rough-barked twigs.
When to see it
All year round.

Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
