Melanohalea elegantula
Description
A foliose lichen. It has adpressed brown or brownish-green thallus with small overlapping lobes, the under-surface with simple rhizines. Isidia are solid, coralloid and often branched. Apothecia rare, with isidiate margins.
Similar Species
Melanohalea exasperatula has hollow isidia.
