A very small (5 mm) moth-like micro caddis with feathery looking wings that have a noticeable pale blotch.
Lakes and large ponds.
May and June.
Widespread and common in Britain.
Uncommon but possibly under recorded in VC55 - the Sapcote record of 6.5.2011 is thought to be only the second record for this species in Leicestershire and Rutland, the first coming from Kilby in 1962.
