Pachygnatha degeeri


    A small (2.5 to 3.5 mm), but quite distinctively marked spider.

    Identification difficulty

    Mainly in grassland and in low vegetation, but also comes into gardens.

    When to see it

    Spring to autumn but adults may be found at any time of year..

    Quite common and widespread in Britain.

    VC55 Status

    Quite frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
