Description
It usually has a pale brown saddle but this is variable. Each eye is surrounded by a ring of 7-10 pale pointed tubercles. It has a trident with a single small tubercle in the middle of a dark band.

Habitat
Found on low vegetation in hedgerows and woodland.
When to see it
Spring and summer. Sometimes called the Spring Harvestman as it is usually the only adult harvestman to be found at this time of year.
UK Status
Common and widespread throughout Britain.
VC55 Status
Common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
