Polydesmia pruinosa


    The fruit bodies are white discs, with frosted surfaces to their fertile hymenium. Each has a white, downy margin, raised above the surface of the hymenium. They grow on their host without stalks, usually gregariously. Grows to 0.5 mm diameter.


    Fruiting on dead pyrenomycetes from the genera Diatrype, Diatrypella, Biscogniauxia and Hypoxylon.

    When to see it

    Fruiting throughout the year.
