Length 5-7 mm. This species is mainly yellowish-green with some reddish-brown shading across the inner parts of the translucent forewings. The face and vertex are an unmarked. The pronotum is sometimes brownish posteriorly.
Detailed examination of the specimen is needed to identify this species. A photograph alone is not normally sufficient because key features are not obvious and there are one or more similar species.
On grey-leaved Salix species on floodplains and other damp habitats.
June to early October.
Widespread across the UK.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
