Porpidia soredizodes


    Grey or creamy-grey patches of thallus surrounded by a black prothallus. Round or irregular soralia with greyish-white or greyish, farinose or granular soredia. Apothecia rare.

    Found on siliceous rocks and pebbles, brick walls and gravestones.

    All year round.

    Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
