Powdery thallus of bright yellow-green, very fine, scurfy granules that can form large patches.
Found on dry, shaded rocks, walls, bricks, stonework and headstones in both rural and urban areas. Rarely found on trees.
All year round.
Common and widespread in Britain.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
