Riccardoella
The tiny white mite Riccardoella is a parasite of molluscs. There are two very similar species which can't easily be separated.

Some research seems to suggest that it may have peaks around January, April and October, but lack of records means that this is yet to be confirmed.
Little recorded in Britain.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
