Small Marbled - Eublemma parva
Wingspan 14 to 18 mm.
Another migrant species which occasionally arrives along with the Purple Marbled in June and July, mostly in the south of England.
Larvae are sometimes found in immigration years, these feeding on Common Fleabane and Ploughman's-spikenard.
Occasional migrant, mainly recorded in the south of England. In a recent survey to determine the status of all macro moths in Britain this species was classified as a migrant.
It appears to be uncommon in Leicestershire and Rutland, where there are few records. L&R Moth Group status = D (rare or rarely recorded).
