A buff coloured bracket; the cap can reach 2 cm diameter.
On the dead wood of broadleaf trees, most often on Oak.
Summer and autumn.
Often tiered in its growth.
Widespread in England, with fewer records from other parts of Britain.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
