Streptanus sordidus

    Description

    Length 4.5 to 6 mm. A genus of three rather variable species, with short wings and a broad outline, difficult to separate. S. sordidus normally has lateral dark lines on the front part of the vertex, curved near the front margin, but no central transverse streak.

    It seems to be widespread in Britain, but identification is difficult.
