Description
Shell size: 7-10mm. This is a small snail is usually pale brown with 6 to 7 tightly coiled whorls. The shell is very thin and flat with a sharp keel at one edge and the outer shell wall noticeably angled away from this keel.

Freshwater ponds and streams with vegetation.

All year round.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in England, less well recorded in Scotland and Wales.
