White Dapperling - Leucoagaricus leucothites
Looking something like a cross between a Parasol and a Field Mushroom, this species is distinguished by a smooth, white cap with a gently yellow center, a collar-like ring, white spores, and off-white or pale pinkish white gills in maturity (pure white in immature specimens).
June to November.
Local, but in fields where they occur there are often large numbers of them scattered around in groups.
Local in Leicestershire and Rutland.
