Wood Speedwell Rust - Puccinia veronicae

This rust affects only Wood Speedwell (Veronica montana).  The telia are light cinnamon-coloured often in circles on brown leaf spots.

Good close up images required, and please state host species.

Woodland and shaded areas where the host species, Wood Speedwell occurs.

When the host species is in leaf (summer to autumn).

Fairly widespread in Britain.

Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
