Enicospilus ramidulus
An orange bodied species with pieces of orange chitin, called sclerites, in the middle of the fore wing. Mesosoma lacking dark patches, uniformly testaceous. Metasoma abrubtly tipped with black posteriorly from 5th or 6th tergite.
Nocturnal and sometimes attracted to light. The males can sometimes be found flying by day.
June to September.
Parasitic on the caterpillars of noctuid moths.
Widespread but not well recorded in Britain.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
