Lilac Bonnet - Mycena pura
Cap 2 to 4.5 cm broad, bell shaped, and then flatter with a slight umbo. Varies in colour from purple or lilac, through pinkish-grey sometimes fading in age to almost white. When moist, the cap margins are distinctly lined.
Broadleaved woodland and other well wooded areas.
Late summer and autumn.
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
